Mellow Park is a selection of tunes produced throughout the last year. All the tracks are somehow momentary snapshots capturing the feelings of being outside – laying in a park on a sunny day, watching clouds pass by, listening to birds, hearing the wind in the trees and sometimes driving empty roads at the seaside.

Holger Schnausen is the newborn Alter Ego of Musician, DJ and Sound Designer Sascha Haus from Germany. The original idea of Holger Schnausen was born during the production of the handmade video game Harold Halibut whose story is set around the 70s. The idea was to produce soul and jazz, oddly cheesy synth music for the soundtrack. Many jam sessions later, there was quite a lot material that wouldn't probably fit into the game but really became the voice of Holger Schnausen and now the material for the LP Mellow Park. Trying to avoid labels Mellow Park is somewhere in the realm of modern soul, jazz, fusion oriented library music. But mostly a personal journey exploring sounds, space and emotion in simple phrases to be taken outside into the park.
